A man has died following a crash in the Cobbs Creek section of Philadelphia late Friday night, police say. The crash happened a little after 11 p.m. at the intersection of South 57th and Chestnut streets.
A woman died after a shooting during rush hour in Center City. Reports first came near 12th and Chestnut. Police say the woman was found there by officers and taken to Jefferson Hospital, which is nearby. She was pronounced dead a short time later.
