Firefighters said it took over two hours just to get the blaze in the Tesla under control due to the lithium-ion batteries. Crews had to use what they call an encapsulating agent along with water. Luckily, no one was injured.
Officials said the cause of the massive fire at SPS Technologies in Abington Township that took nearly a week to contain in February was ruled accidental.
