The casinos clearing the last hurdle are Steve Cohen's Metropolitan Park in Queens, Bally's Bronx, and Resorts World New York City at Aqueduct Racetrack, also in Queens.
All three remaining proposals for downstate casino licenses in NYC have been approved by the New York Gaming Facility Location Board.
Now, the board will provide its recommendations to the state Gaming Commission, which is expected to have the final say on Dec. 31. CBS News New York's Lisa Rozner reports.
