Chicago police said just after 3:30 a.m., a group of people was standing outside in the 200 block of North Campbell Avenue when shots were fired. The girl was inside a parked car when she was hit by gunfire, according to police.
Bullet casings were seen on the ground as police investigated the scene.

The two victims were found shot in the east alley, in the 4700 block of North Troy Street just before 11:30 p.m. Friday.
Officers responded to a disturbance inside the residence and found the victim, a 59-year-old man, with a gunshot wound to the stomach.
The victim told the officers he was shot by the offender, a 55-year-old woman, who was still on the scene. She was placed in custody, and a weapon was recovered.
