Police are investigating a shooting at a West Philadelphia bar early Sunday morning that left one man dead and two others injured.
Investigators said that a juvenile fired a single shot back into the bus, which hit a 15-year-old boy in the chest. The teen was brought to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he was pronounced dead just after 1:15 p.m. No one else on the bus was injured, a SEPTA spokesperson said.
A Philadelphia officer has been released from the hospital after he was shot near Friends Hospital, officials said. He was spared a more serious injury because of his bulletproof vest, police said.
