A child was killed in a freak accident involving a deer on Downingtown Pike in Chester County. The fatal crash happened in West Bradford Township. According to state police, the deer was struck by a car heading east, sending it right into the path of a car traveling in the opposite direction. The impact killed a juvenile, who was in the front passenger seat.
