Park Ridge police and the FBI said the man walked into the bank, pulled out a gun, and demanded money from the teller before fleeing the scene.
Four robberies have occurred at two U.S. Bank locations in Elmhurst and Schaumburg, Illinois, since October of last year.
The FBI is searching for a man they say is responsible for robbing the same two banks in two Chicago suburbs, with the latest happening on Thursday.
