Schaumburg police said the US Bank at 60 S. Meacham Rd. was robbed at 1:25 p.m.
The robber held up a US Bank in Schaumburg Wednesday afternoon.

The 83-year-old is known as the Leaping Bandit for heists including five bank robberies in 1987 in the Chicago area.
The FBI did not specify whether the robber got away with any money, and if so, whether a dye pack was included with the proceeds.
The FBI is investigating a ban robbery in Elmhurst.
With the holiday shopping bringing out the big crowds, authorities say it is critical to catch the man before he hits again.
He carries a gun, and there is fear he may use the weapon next.
A massive police presence was at the scene Friday night.

Just before 11 a.m., a man armed with a black handgun, and wearing a work jacket, hoodie, and black mask robbed the U.S. Bank at 60 S. Meacham Rd.
