A 37-year-old suspect is still hospitalized and facing multiple charges after taking control of a Dallas police car Saturday evening before jumping and bailing onto the freeway.
Dallas PD said the boy was last seen around 5 p.m. in the 100 block of Templecliff Drive and issued a local Amber Alert at about 10:50 p.m.
DPD said the officer was able to regain control of the car after the suspect jumped out of the vehicle.
