Man charged with triple shooting in Deep Ellum, Dallas police say
A man is facing charges after Dallas Police say he allegedly shot and wounded three people in the Deep Ellum area overnight.
The department said it happened just after 1 a.m. on Sunday along the 2900 block of Elm Street. Officers said the three victims were taken to a hospital by Dallas Fire-Rescue in stable condition.
Dallas Police said officers arrested 23-year-old Demond Hardy at the scene. He's now charged with four counts of aggravated assault by discharging a firearm into an occupied building, house, or vehicle, which is a first-degree felony.
The investigation is ongoing. Dallas Police noted no officers were hurt in the incident.
