The shooting happened around 1 p.m. on South Clinton Street in East Orange, New Jersey.
The shooting happened at around 3:15 p.m. at Washington Street between Battery Place and Morris Street.
Police responded to Hunterdon Street and Cluster Avenue around 5 p.m. after receiving a report about a man with a gun.
Police say officers found Gurley Johnson, 27, with a gunshot would to the torso at around 10:50 p.m. Tuesday near Broad Wines & Spirits on Broad Street.
