Ramos' family fellow members of the force streamed into the Christ Tabernacle Church in Queens on Friday, less than a week after the Dec. 20 killings.
The victim, according to police, is 20-year-old James Bryant, of Jamaica, Queens.
A sea of blue ribbons have washed over Glendale, Queens, tied to every pole for block and blocks along Myrtle Avenue, leading the way to Christ Tabernacle Church where wake and funeral services will be held for Officer Rafael Ramos.
They carried two huge wreaths. A line of police officers stood saluting in silence as they placed the wreaths at the site.
The fire broke out at around 11:40 a.m. at 142nd Place near 123rd Avenue in Jamaica.
While police investigate the origin of the threats, security has been stepped up at all station houses following the fatal shooting of two NYPD officers.
The event benefits the non-profit group Save the Children.
On Saturday morning, the NYPD Special Victims Unit tweeted that it had the suspect in custody and thanked CBS New York for covering the story.
