A man was shot and killed Sunday night outside a CTA Red Line station in Rogers Park.
All the victims were taken to Stroger Hospital of Cook County, police said.
Police officers appeared to pursue a possible suspect on foot outside the United Center after the shooting. Andrew Ramos reports.
No one was injured in the shooting, and the off-duty Chicago police officer did not return fire.
The incident happened Saturday evening in the Back of the Yards neighborhood.
Edgar Barron, 25, is charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder, according to Cook County court records.
Police said, around 8:40 p.m., officers responded to a shooting near 38th and Ellis, and found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
