The ticket was bought for the Wednesday, July 10 evening drawing at the store located at 45 South Plum Grove Road.
According to lottery officials, nine players in Illinois have won a million dollars or more playing Lotto so far this year.
The ticket in the May 20 Lotto Million 1 drawing matched all six numbers, winning the $1 million jackpot prize.
The prize was said to be the largest ever won by an iLottery player in the nation.
The ticket was purchased by someone in Illinois. However, it's not clear where as it appeared the ticket was bought online.
The ticket was sold on Monday at a BP gas station located at 39105 North Highway 41 in Wadsworth, Illinois, about 45 miles north of Chicago.

The winners are the seventh, eighth, and ninth players to win the $1 million tier prize, according to lottery officials.
The winner won $1 million from the ticket that was given to her by a regular customer.
Saturday night's jackpot was delayed due to one participating lottery needing additional time to complete pre-draw procedures.
If won, the player can take the cash payout around $595 million. The next drawing happens Saturday.
