Chicago police said that just after 11:30 p.m., a man working the rideshare was inside a gas station in the 100 block of West North Avenue in Old Town when a woman drove away in his car.

Police said in each of the incidents, the victim legally parked her vehicle on the street, and when they returned, the vehicle was missing.
The car was recovered shortly after near the 3300 block of West Devon Avenue, police said.
Police believe this person may have stolen two cars and burglarized 14 others from the Trevor Creek and Antioch Manor subdivisions.
Traffic cameras later caught police chasing the criminal convoy down the highway.
