The 28-year-old and his brother were killed in a car crash Thursday in Spain.
The trooper and the other driver both were taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries.
The crash happened near Marquette and Langley, leaving debris and bricks inside and outside the building.
Sources tell CBS News Chicago three people were taken to the hospital in good condition and one in serious condition.
The Medical Examiner identified the driver killed in the crash as 62-year-old Darryl King.
Adrian Pleban, 18, of Hanover Park, was charged with two counts of reckless homicide and two counts of aggravated reckless driving causing great bodily harm.
The crash happened shortly after 10 p.m. in the 2400 block of West Washington Boulevard.
It is alleged that the woman's blood alcohol level was .173, and she was arrested.
Firefighters and paramedics found the crash about one-half mile north of the intersection on Route 14, with the passenger vehicle overturned on its roof and the driver trapped inside.
The crash happened just before 3:30 a.m. on northbound I-55 south of Lemont Road in DuPage County.
