Chicago police said two men were outside near Polk and Wells streets when one shot the other.
The shooting happened at 1:45 a.m. Sunday in the 7700 block of South Kingston Avenue.
Responding officers arrived to find a 41-year-old man outside on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.
Multiple neighbors said they made calls to 911 after hearing a gunshot and then the sound of screaming. As Asal Rezaei reports, the neighbors said they looked out their windows to see the victim lying in a driveway covered in blood.
Police said a physical struggled ensued during the robbery, at which point one of the robbers shot the woman in the abdomen.
