According to the department, at about 7 p.m. on Wednesday, officers were called to the shooting in the 6300 block of Godfrey Avenue.
Video captured the two individuals fleeing the scene moments after gunfire erupted.

Officers were called to a home along Emhouse Street around 2:30 a.m.
The shooting unfolded just before 6 p.m. on Friday, May 15, the department said.
The incident has renewed neighborhood concerns about long‑standing problems tied to the vacant home.
Toderick Austin, 25, and Jayveion Burnley, 18, were taken into custody.
The shootings in south Dallas happened as another pair of deadly shootings unfolded in the Deep Ellum neighborhood.
The shootings happened just hours apart and a block away from each other.
Officers on the scene said an altercation between appeared to have preceded the shooting.
Police say the incident is part of ongoing efforts to stop drug trafficking through Dallas Love Field.
Police are still working to identify the suspect and determine what led to the gunfire.
According to the Dallas Police Department, just after midnight, officers responded to the scene at Flora Motel in the 2800 block of Fort Worth Avenue.
The two overnight crashes happened just hours apart on opposite sides of the city, with one officer evaluated at a hospital.
