A convenience store clerk is hospitalized after being shot during a robbery in Philadelphia early Monday morning.
Matthew Montgomery, 27, of South Conestoga Street near Woodland Avenue, was arrested on Wednesday.
It happened around 4:41 p.m. at 56th Street and Hoffman Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia.
Police say the victim was robbed by two men while sitting in his car in Southwest Philadelphia. They took his phone, cash, and wallet, which contained his address. Later, four men cleaned out his apartment.
The incident was reported shortly before 10 p.m. at S. 51st Street and Willows Avenue.
The accident occurred on 48th Street and Grays Ferry Avenue in the Kingsessing section of the city.
