After several sinkholes formed in the last few years, PennDOT is injecting pressurized grout under the roadway on Route 202 in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. The work has already been done in the northbound lanes but this time, the southbound lanes will be closed for the preventative work, which should hopefully prevent more sinkholes in the future. There was a traffic nightmare on Route 202 north in Chester County after a serious accident involving a septic truck. The truck appeared to be leaking. This happened between the Route 29 and Paoli exits. The septic tank overturned, spilling its contents all over the road. One person was taken to the hospital. Only one northbound lane is open as crews work to clean it up.

An area of Route 202 that had seen issues due to sinkholes in the past is now reopened after soft soil caused a dip in the roadway to form. A more permanent fix to the sinkhole issues will be completed over the summer.
PennDOT crews are once again working on a portion of Route 202 northbound in King of Prussia, which is causing a traffic headache for commuters.
PennDOT said it’s not a sinkhole or pothole. Crews are blaming “soft soil” for the dip in the road.
