SEPTA police say the stabbing happened just before 8 a.m. Thursday.
The 14-year-old boy who was fatally shot on SEPTA's Market-Frankford platform Saturday afternoon has been identified.

Passengers can expect delays due to police activity.
There were delays Tuesday morning on close to two dozen SEPTA routes.
The incident happened Dec. 12, 2022 at the 11th Street stop on the Market-Frankford Line in Philadelphia.
Right now, only the stairs will take you to the platforms of more than a dozen stations.
It happened around 11 a.m. Saturday at the SEPTA's Spring Garden stop at Spring Garden and Front Streets.
Last July, the transit agency pulled a third of its regional rail fleet after structural defects were discovered.
During the evening rush, there were some mixed reviews.
SEPTA officials say about one-third of its fleet will be taken out of service Monday.
It's part of an effort to make its service more tourist-friendly.
It happened around 12:30 p.m. Sunday at the 60th Street stop along SEPTA's Market-Frankford line.
The Philadelphia Police Homicide Unit and the District Attorney's Office follow protocol in these matters and always investigate when a person dies in police custody. SEPTA authorities are also doing an internal investigation.
It happened at 6:25 p.m. Wednesday at the Market-Frankford subway line's Somerset Station. Surveillance video shows the man staggering down the steps to the platform, where he fell onto the track.
All passengers using the line between 30th Street and 52nd Street stations should board trains on the Eastbound platforms.
