According to police, a man wearing a ski mask and a black jacket with fur trim came in, shot the cashier twice in his chest, then ran away without uttering a word.
Police say 45-year-old Robert Williams opened fire inside a stationhouse last Sunday, wounding a lieutenant. He's also accused of ambushing two officers in a van the night before.
The NYPD is investigating what it's calling a "credible threat" to again target officers in the Bronx, just four days after a violent weekend when police were targeted by multiple shootings including an attack inside the 41st Precinct.
The incident happened shortly before 10 p.m. on Wednesday on board a 6 train pulling into the Brook Avenue station in Mott Haven.
Police say it shows the officers firing on an attempted robbery suspect who pointed an imitation gun at them. The suspect survived the shooting and is now facing charges.
