Robert Santos is described as a teen who loved his family.
The family of 18-year-old Robert Santos says he tried protecting them while they were driving in a car when shots rang out Monday. CBS 2’s Charlie De Mar sat down with Santos’ family on Tuesday.
The teen was hit in the arm, chest, and chin and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center critical condition.
Police said the teen was "being uncooperative" with the investigation.
Police arrested Thomas Tucker, 29, Friday night in the 2100 block of North Cleveland Avenue.
The ages of the victims range from 17 to 62 years old.
