The first half of the week will be rainy but warmer in Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley, but by Thursday temperatures take a nose dive back into the 30s. Meteorologist Tammie Souza has your NEXT Weather forecast.
After the nice warm-up we had on Sunday, we’re now focusing our attention on the two major rounds of rain rolling in for Monday and Wednesday of this week. While we need the rain with a continued drought situation across the area, we won’t see enough to alleviate it.
Temperatures Sunday morning will be in the 30s and near 40s, but by the afternoon the region will warm up to a high of 55 degrees.

Temperatures Sunday morning will be in the 30s and near 40s, but by the afternoon the region will warm up to the mid-50s. Gusty winds occasionally up to 25 mph will make it feel slightly cooler, but not like the intense wind chills we've experienced the past few days.
