WFAN's Jon Heyman and Sweeny Murti have learned the Bombers' front office appears to have no intention of making wholesale changes. In fact, it looks like they are about to offer some of the postseason culprits a lifeboat.
"(Rodriguez's benching) had nothing to do with anything but what I felt was our best opportunity that day," Yankees manager Joe Girardi said. "I just think he was one of our guys that was struggling, like a lot of our other guys."
"I can't imagine that," Anthony said in regard to A-Rod's situation. "I can't imagine that. I just feel bad for A-Rod, man. I don't like to see nobody go through that. It's tough."
