Port Authority of New York and New Jersey workers will replace sections of the steel beams that support the roadway. The cranes needed for the project require three of the four lanes to be closed.
Construction will go on from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday through Friday on the upper level. On Saturdays, the span won't re-open until 10 a.m., officials said.
