Authorities said that the two men approached two male victims -- ages 32 and 21 -- at gunpoint and demanded their property.
In each of the incidents, the suspect enters the establishment while displaying a firearm and removes cash and cartons of cigarettes before fleeing the scene.
A $12,000 reward has been offered for the information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
The suspect entered the Venus Over Manhattan Art Gallery on June 19 and posed as a potential customer before swiping the $150,000 painting, authorities said.
