Allen, Others Likely Face Last Game With Vikings

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is aiming to play in the season finale despite a sprained right foot that has slowed him the last few weeks. Peterson took part in practice Thursday. He said prior to the workout his "mindset is to be out there" Sunday against Detroit, the last game ever at the Metrodome. But Peterson acknowledged he felt uncomfortable last week at Cincinnati. He said "stay tuned," as to whether he'll be healthy enough to play.

Vikings RB Peterson Practices, Expects To Play

Adrian Peterson returned to practice for the Minnesota Vikings on Friday and is expected to play in Sunday's game at Cincinnati as long as he doesn't have any setbacks with his sprained right foot. Peterson, the league's second-leading rusher, is listed as questionable for Minnesota (4-9-1). He missed last week's game after spraining his foot a week earlier at Baltimore. The NFL MVP trails Philadelphia's LeSean McCoy by 122 yards for the league rushing title with two games left.
