Chicago police said just before 5:30 a.m., a man, 60, was at an ATM when another man on a bike approached, displayed a firearm, and demanded his property.
The offender suffered gunshot wounds throughout the body and was taken to Christ Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
In each incident, at least one of the robbers was armed with a handgun, police said.
According to police, three robbers took a car at gunpoint from one of the victims before driving around and robbing lone pedestrians of their property.
