John Snowling, 59, shot his wife, who was divorcing him, and then began firing "randomly" at other patrons in the bar, authorities said.
A prosecutor said a retired police officer, 59-year-old John Snowling was the gunman. An officer shot and killed him.
The victim was shot once in the head and twice in the left leg and was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in critical condition. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
