Chicago police said just after 7:30 a.m., three people damaged the front glass door of the Whale Fish, Shrimp, and Chicken in the 3600 block of West Chicago Avenue in the Humboldt Park neighborhood.

The robberies happened in the Gresham and Longwood Manor neighborhoods.
There were two to four thieves involved, police said.

At least five people were seen exiting a white truck and breaking the glass to the front door.
The thieves then made entry, took the ATM, and fled in a white SUV, police said.
In one case, the suspects used a chain, and in another, they entered the business through the roof.

The crimes happened between 3:30-5:30 a.m. in South Chicago, Burnside, and Calumet Heights. Police did not confirm whether the burglaries and thefts were connected.
They said four to five men used an unknown object to break through a glass door and took proceeds from within.
