The First Alert Weather Team continues to monitor the fire danger area wide as it is once again elevated across North Texas with wind gusts today up to 25 mph.
Feels-like temperatures reach 106° by Thursday afternoon, with actual temperatures between 100 and 102 °.
What you'll notice Wednesday and through the rest of the workweek is an uptick in the wind, gusting up to 30-35 mph at times.
Temperatures will rise to 100° in the afternoon, with the heat index reaching 106°. A heat advisory is in effect from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The heat index in some places could reach up to 108 degrees.
Most of the region will stay dry on Sunday.
