Linda Edwards, who told CBS2's Kevin Rincon about the outage, contacted us Monday to say the heat was fixed shortly after our report aired Sunday night.
The freezing cold temperatures outside are being felt inside at the Astoria Houses.
Both are expected to survive. Police say the fire stated in the kitchen just before 1 p.m.
