Harlem fashion designer Dapper Dan teamed up with Gap for this Giving Tuesday, donating thousands of dollars to a nonprofit for local youth. CBS2's Jessi Mitchell joined him at the Brotherhood Sister Sol, where surprises were in store.
Giving comes in many forms. Last year, 10 million Americans donated time and 9.7 million donated goods.
Tuesday is the 10th anniversary of Giving Tuesday, the worldwide generosity movement that takes place the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.
