Several crashes on the Minnesota River bridge shut down parts of eastbound 494 Friday morning. Parts of 494 were beginning to be shut down at 1:30 a.m. Friday. Reports say one of the crashes included a shuttle bus and another involved a State Trooper.
Minnesota State Patrol Lt. Eric Roeske says it could have been a lot worse. He said they got a call that someone was driving down Interstate 494 the wrong way near the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
