A sunny and dry weekend ahead for North Texas as the heat dome builds over the Southern Plains. Feels like temperatures could near 105 degrees next week.
High humidity in the area will make it feel up to 105 degrees this weekend and 110 degrees to start the week.
North Texas could see feels like temperatures reach 105°+ to start next week.

As Tropical Storm Alberto moves inland in Mexico, North Texas skies will begin to brighten this afternoon with highs in the lower 90s.
The center of Tropical Storm Alberto was likely to reach the Mexican Gulf Coast early Thursday, bringing heavy rainfall to portions of Mexico and Texas.
Alberto is packing winds around 40 mph. Tropical force winds extended out over 400 miles from the storm.
