Passenger trains are rolling through historic Union Depot in St. Paul again. Amtrak service picked up passengers Wednesday night and will again on Thursday for the first time since 1971. The train was supposed to arrive in St. Paul at about 8 a.m., but was delayed several hours.
The tracks at Union Depot in downtown St. Paul have been quiet for 43 years, so it's big news that Amtrak is resuming passenger service again.
Roundy's has negotiated a deal to sell 18 Rainbow Foods stores in Minnesota. Supervalu, which owns Cub Foods, has been working with other grocery chains to buy these stores. The deal also includes 13 Rainbow pharmacies and three Rainbow liquor stores in the state.
