The San Diego man landed a plane on San Clemente Island twice. During the final instance, he stole a Navy truck and crashed it through several gates at the airstrip.
Police said that the three suspects approached the victims and held them at gunpoint while they stole high-end pieces of jewelry back in May. After nearly four months of investigation, the suspects were taken into custody.
The chase began in Compton and ended with an arrest in Laguna Hills.
