Two men were behind bars after allegedly beating a man, and then breaking into an apartment in Naperville.
CBS 2's Andrew Ramos reports that the offenders, according to police, demanded cash and valuables, pistol-whipping the homeowner and brutally assaulting the other two adults.
CBS 2's Andrew Ramos reports police said the three residents of the home reported armed offenders broke into the house, bound and battered them, and stole money and other unspecified items.
"They were looking for a big amount, millions and millions. And I said 'I don't know what you're talking about.'"
Jose Melendez was arrested on Wednesday in connection with a home invasion on Jan. 14 in the 100 block of Walnut Drive.
Joseph L. Tobias, 26, was arrested by Chicago police Friday morning in the 1900 block of West Ogden Avenue.
