It happened in the northbound lanes just after 11:30 p.m. Wednesday near Exit 6.
Officials say the crash happened between Exit 17: Front Street and Exit 17: Broad Street/Pattison Avenue.
The changing pattern could cause jams Friday night and Saturday afternoon.
