The first-in-the-nation legislation establishes penalties for deaths and injuries that occur as a result of gun trafficking, Murphy said.
The state funeral for New Jersey Lt. Gov. Sheila Oliver was held at Newark's Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart.
