There is no word on if the driver or anyone inside the building was hurt.
Several windows at the building, located at 875 N. Michigan Ave., were smashed out as a result.
Chicago police say the crash happened in the 600 block of West Randolph Street.

The crash happened around 1:15 a.m. in the southbound lanes at Taylor Street.
The shooting happened just after 2 a.m. in the 4100 block of West Congress Parkway.
The victim tried to drive off to escape the gunfire when he hit a curb and then a tree.
Tawfiq Mazakis, 51, of Westchester was charged with aggravated battery and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
Niles Fire Department District Chief Orlando Diaz said they were dispatched to an auto accident on Normal & Greenwood.
The victim was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
CBS 2's Sabrina Franza reports that the driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital where he remains in critical condition. The person that hit him walked off the scene.
"Gets scared, spooked, probably sees the camera, and runs away. Maybe too afraid to deal with it or just didn't want to face reality."

The SUV backed into the store knocking shelves down and causing major damage inside.
An occupant from the semi was taken to an area hospital with unknown injuries.

A trooper attempted to stop a car wanted for aggravated battery with unlawful use of a weapon on DuSable Lake Shore Drive at Montrose.
"I'm just really scared for them. More and more kids are becoming a part of violence because they see a lot of other kids doing it. And it's just, follow the leader."
CBS 2's Shardaa Gray reports from Englewood where the teens crashed overnight. The kids were taken to a hospital in critical condition.
No one was inside the home at the time of the crash, but multiple people in the minivan were hospitalized.
Police said a 15-year-old girl was driving the car with the 51-year-old man in the passenger seat when she lost control and struck the building.
Police say the initial investigation indicates that alcohol may have been a factor in the crash, but no other information was given.
All southbound lanes were closed at 127th Street for more than two hours after the crash, but have since reopened.
Police said, around 2:30 a.m., a car was speeding north on Pulaski when it ran a red light at 79th Street, and hit a truck in the intersection.
