It happened around 2:25 p.m. Tuesday while the bus while traveling southbound on the Harlem River Drive near 155th Street.
The conductor was pushed from the platform into the path of an oncoming train.
Authorities said the unprovoked attack happened just before 8 a.m. at the Hoyt Schermerhorn subway station.
