According to the sheriff's office, from Sept. 26 through Oct. 16, investigators received more than 25 reports of rim and tire thefts across Miami-Dade County.
Just after 11 a.m., the deputy and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to a medical call near Gladeview, where "several loose, vicious dogs" attacked the woman and a 5-year-old child who was with her.
One man was found lying on the ground and the other man was found in a vehicle. Both were fatally shot.
