Nearly two months after a couple was robbed outside their home in the north Chicago suburb of Glenview, police said they had a second suspect in custody Tuesday.
The attacks happened within 5 minutes of each other on the 0-100 block of West Kinzie Street.
In all four incidents, which took place within 30 minutes, the victims were walking outside when they were confronted by strangers demanding items.
Chicago police said a 36-year-old man was getting items out of his car, in the 1400 block of North Artesian Avenue, just after 10:45 p.m., when an armed man approached and demanded his belongings.
Police said a man walked up to the victims and robbed them at gunpoint. Two of the robberies happened at construction sites.
Video showed the man and woman attacking salon workers with pepper spray before robbing them and leaving the business.
