This comes amid clashes between protesters and federal agents in Broadview, Illinois, and other reported ICE activity around the city of Chicago.
Demonstrators return to the ICE facility in Broadview as the area braces for a deployment of the Illinois National Guard. DHS officials said that deployment is meant to help federal agents as "Operation Midway Blitz" continues.

As concrete barriers were put in place and designated protest zones established outside the Broadview ICE facility, Gov. JB Pritzker said DHS Sec. Kristi Noem should "no longer be allowed to step foot" in Illinois without accountability. She is rumored to be visiting Friday.
