Around 1:20 a.m., Chicago police said the man broke into a building in the 3400 block of North Damen Avenue and sexually abused two women.
Heavy smoke was seen billowing up into the sky in the building on Damen Avenue at 52nd Street.
Responding crews were able to put out the fire with no injuries.
