Authorities said the 76-year-old woman is under court-appointed guardianship, which does not authorize contact with her sister.
Police said they do not believe the woman is in immediate danger but are asking for the public's help to ensure her safety.
"Denton… I'm coming home!!!"
According to Denton police, evidence and video footage linked the 36-year-old man to all three fires.
It was approved nearly one week ago by the House in a historic vote.
It is the second major crash on I-35 handled by Denton police in two days.
