On Christmas Eve, Clara Robinson was traveling with her family when their vehicle crashed off US-75 into a drainage ditch.
The driver of the vehicle that struck the trooper was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

The force of the crash, which took place about 4:15 p.m., resulted in debris over the freeway.
The accident occurred at about 2:10 p.m., according to the Irving Police Department.
