Dr. Barbara Sampson told the court that the bruises and the marks on Cachay's neck and the water found in her lungs showed that Cachay died of manual strangulation and drowning.
The jury heard from Cachay's personal physician on Tuesday. She told the jury that Cachay was taking five prescription medications at the time of her death for fibromyalgia, a chronic pain condition, and for insomnia.
